Accepting your delivery
Unless pre-arranged, larger item deliveries are generally made by one delivery person. Please ensure someone is on hand to assist the driver if your box is large or would need 2 people to lift. These deliveries are scheduled in with you so you will know when the couriers will be arriving. Deliveries are to the front door only.
Before accepting your item from the courier please thoroughly check inside the boxes beforehand at the point of signing, even if the boxes appear to be in perfect condition. If the items are not in perfect condition please do not accept them and contact us for a replacement to be sent while the courier is with you on 0203 950 9637. Please ensure you clearly mark the couriers paperwork with a description of the problem. Once items are accepted we will not be held responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all ordered goods fit into the home and that there is no restricted access etc to avoid disappointment before you buy. If you are uncertain please contact us by email firstname.lastname@example.org or call on (within the UK) on 0203 950 9637 (outside the UK) 00 44 0203 950 9637 and we assist you. We reserve the right to apply a restocking charge of 20% and the cost of the delivery will be charged for items returned in this situation. Craftsman Style cannot accept full refunds for goods that cannot fit into the home or cannot be delivered due to access, unsuitability or any fault of the customer.
Delivery within the UK
Small item orders are usually dispatched within 5-6 working days.
Larger item orders need more care and handling and are, therefore, dispatched through our specialist furniture distribution agent. Please note this service does take longer but does ensure your item(s) arrives in the condition you would expect from us. You will be contacted, by our distribution agent, once your order is processed and advised of an expected delivery date and time. For larger items please allow approximately 15-20 days for delivery.
We deliver to the whole of the mainland UK. For deliveries outside of the mainland including the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Isles, Ireland, The Isle of Man, and The Isle of Wight please contact us at email@example.com for a competitive quote. Where ever you are you can be sure we will get it there safely and promptly.
For small items our standard courier service will attempt delivery twice and will leave a calling card if no one is home to sign for the delivery. You can contact them directly using the details on the calling card or contact our Customer Service team on 0203 950 9637. Should you not respond to the calling card within 5 days, the goods will be returned to us and a re-delivery charge may be applicable.
All international deliveries are dispatched through our international couriers. The service is door to door and you will be contacted by your local Customs department when your item has landed prior to delivery to your home, so you will know exactly when to expect it. Please dont forget there will be an import tax payable locally in most countries and/states which vary for your item(s). Before you make your purchase contact us on email (is best) due the different time zones confirming your zip code or address and we will provide you with a price for the shipping prior to your purchase firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternatively, you can make your purchase online and we will contact you to adjust the shipping costs before dispatch and confirmation of your order.
Items out of stock
It is possible to order items which are out of stock once we can provide estimated delivery date to you; a 50% deposit must be made. This deposit is non-refundable after 3 days from date of order and cannot be used against a future purchase should the customer change their mind. Please be sure about your order to avoid these charges. The goods will not be delivered on the agreed delivery date unless cleared funds for the entire purchase price have been received in full 4 days prior to the agreed delivery date.
We aim to keep everything in stock but as our reproduction furniture is hand-made the re-order time for goods can be between 8-12 weeks. We aim to be as accurate as we can with delivery estimates but they are not binding. Delays may occur in shipping which we have no control of and we ask our customers to be patient should unforeseen delays occur.
